Pocket calendars for 2010 are so nice to have! Staples had them for a number of years - and with eight children I made good use of them. Then they went to a larger version and it would not fit in your pocket. So I looked in catalogs and online to no avail. Finally I made my own from whatever paper I had and wrote in the date. Then - God blessed my hopes - they came out with a pocket size daily/monthly calendar for desk use which I have easily adapted to pocket use by dividing into months and adding a nice cover from some of the wonderful graphics on publications. It is time to write. It rained yesterday! It has been a hot summer with a number of fires started. So what a blessing to have rain! Thank You Lord! And how nice to blog again! I recently read that to those who like to write, writing is like breathing...you must breathe and you must write! So again thank You Lord for this blog. My brother-in-law in Spain blogs and in Spanish and this reminded me to blog more. Just some happy recent times! We had our annual family camping trip August 20-23, 2015, at Lake of the Woods. Bowdoin Bulletin 2011 Dear Family & Friends Much Loved Far & Near J As I sit here by the warm fire at our heritage home with Terell reading about Tim Tebow on his phone, we greet you all with love and our 2011 Bowdoin Bulletin. I am blessed to receive the first Christmas letters from Sheldon & Judy Shaw and John & Susan Harrigan and decided to take a break from other things to sit down and share with you. Four of our children have traveled to/been in other countries this year: Jonathan & Kathie made a business trip to London and Paris in September. It is always a special time. They even spotted a leopard scarf for me J. Joshua is teaching English in China. He will be home for Christmas J Yay! It is 15 hours ahead of our time where he is, so if it is 5pm here it is 8am the next day over there. I am pretty good at the time thing usually.
