Swimming is so great! I am so glad I learned to swim when I was a kid! I was really not a good swimmer at first but I kept working at it after I was done with lessons. Finally I started to get better and better. During my first year of college at Biola I took a Lifeguard swimming course for PE and got my Lifeguard certificate. One of my accomplishments in swimming was swimming underwater the entire width of the Caveman Pool! It has been interesting and fun to help our eight children learn to swim! Terell & I did a lot of helping them and letting them work on it in between playing in the water. We took them to swim lessons at the Caveman, swim lessons with Vic and Winnie Fedosky, swim lessons at Mryna Shaneyfelts, swim lessons at the Y, and fun times at various times. Myrna was their favorite teacher. She has a nice pool right beside her house and it is just right for Moms &/or Dads to bring the kids and watch their little ones while she teaches the bigger ones.

It is time to write. It rained yesterday! It has been a hot summer with a number of fires started. So what a blessing to have rain! Thank You Lord! And how nice to blog again! I recently read that to those who like to write, writing is like breathing...you must breathe and you must write! So again thank You Lord for this blog. My brother-in-law in Spain blogs and in Spanish and this reminded me to blog more. Just some happy recent times! We had our annual family camping trip August 20-23, 2015, at Lake of the Woods. Bowdoin Bulletin 2011 Dear Family & Friends Much Loved Far & Near J As I sit here by the warm fire at our heritage home with Terell reading about Tim Tebow on his phone, we greet you all with love and our 2011 Bowdoin Bulletin. I am blessed to receive the first Christmas letters from Sheldon & Judy Shaw and John & Susan Harrigan and decided to take a break from other things to sit down and share with you. Four of our children have traveled to/been in other countries this year: Jonathan & Kathie made a business trip to London and Paris in September. It is always a special time. They even spotted a leopard scarf for me J. Joshua is teaching English in China. He will be home for Christmas J Yay! It is 15 hours ahead of our time where he is, so if it is 5pm here it is 8am the next day over there. I am pretty good at the time thing usually.
